Scala Software Engineer (Kaysville, Utah)
Job Type Full-time Description Qualified person needed to develop enterprise-level software in Summit & OC domains using Agile practices through SDLC.
Document components in Confluence, Lucidchart, Pivotal.
Create Data schemas for persistence, CRUD ops in MongodB, and improve stout queries.
Use S3, Elasticsearch & Redis for high-speed data retrieval.
Build location services through Google Maps & Here Maps API's.
Data stream to microservices through legacy Kinesis, and new events through MQTT, Kafka.
Manage servers and deploy software through Linux Command Line, Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
Test code moving from local to Dev to Staging & Production using Selenium, Postman, & Marshmallow.
Deploy using latest Integration/Deployment practices & troubleshoot issues.
Requirements Requires:
MSCIS/Equiv, plus 2 years of experience in job offered, and proficiency with Scala, Python & Java, Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, API Gateway, Selenium, Postman, Marshmallow, MongodB, S3, Elasticsearch, Redis MQTT, Kafka, Confluence, Lucidchart, Pivotal, and Lambda.
