We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to oversee our financial operations.
This is a critical role that will manage the financial integrity of our company, ensuring our financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet corporate objectives and regulatory body requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit and loss reporting.
The Controller will have solid experience in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all company accounts and investments.
Implement and maintain a system of internal controls that will ensure company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with financial policies and US GAAP.
Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.
Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline (MBA preferred).
Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

years of proven experience in a financial management role.
Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and NetSuite.
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Thorough knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), regulations, and financial data analysis.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
An ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and manage time effectively.
Experience with COGS, ERP implementation, cash management, budgeting & forecasting, audit, financial statements, compliance, and developing standards.
