We partner with a wide range of medical facilities and healthcare providers to bring a higher level of care to the healthcare delivery.
We are seeking a mail sorter who is responsible for efficiently sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail within the hospital facility.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that important documents and communications reach their intended recipients in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities Receive and Sort Mail Receive incoming mail and packages Sort mail based on department, floor, or individual Distribute Mail:
Deliver sorted mail to designated departments, offices, and individuals.
Ensure accurate and timely distribution of mail Process Outgoing Mail:
Collect outgoing mail from various departments.
Prepare outgoing mail for delivery by sorting, labeling, and packaging Follow Security and confidentiality protocols:
Adhere to hospital protocols regarding the handling of sensitive and confidential information Maintain the security and privacy of mail and packages Communicate effectively with staff to resolve any mail-related issues Required Skills and Qualifications Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience- Previous experience in a mailroom or similar role is preferred Organization Skills- Stong organizational skills and attention to detail Communication Skills - Good communication skills to interact with hospital staff Physical Requirements - Must be able to walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift 25 pounds or more.
Dependability - Reliable and punctual, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
