Dr. Assistant

Keeping the office organized, Laundering towels patient gowns, Keeping up on internet / web-sites. Assist staff with external marketing in the community and internal marketing with our existing patients. Keeping good Patient flow through the office, be able to back up the doctor and commit patients to follow care guidelines
Requirements: A high school diploma is required. A minimum of two years experience in sales or customer service work is also required. You will assisting with some light presentations in the community. Assertive PHONE, PEOPLE AND MOTIVATIONAL SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. Description: Are you a NATURAL BORN LEADER? Have people told you this? If you think this is just another reception job you are wrong. Yes you will be cross trained in reception work but it's more than that! You will need to take responsibility and make things happen, not just wait for things to happen. You will need to sell what you do every day. You will need to promote the Doctor and chiropractic with each patient, or prospective patient.
In some jobs, all the marketing is done for you and all you have to do is show up and do the work that is provided. This job is not like that. We have to find our work and then take care of the work we find.
Light typing at least 50 WPM. General math skills required and access to a car for occasional errands. You must also have a good driving record. You will need to carry and lift some promotional material in and out of your car. You must be willing to help launder the patient towels and gowns from time to time as such you must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. up and down stairs to our laundry.
Hours: Great for family life:
15 hours per week. Mon.Tue. Wed 2:30-6 PM. Tue. 2-6 PM Off
All major holidays off. Although general health insurance is not offered, Chiropractic services for self and immediate family members (get details if hired).
Experience is preferred. Wages start at 8-10.00/
